Privacy.
This privacy notice describes how DayZero Studios AG ("DayZero", "we") collects and processes personal data when you use our website, contact us, or work with us as a brand, agency, creator or supplier.
1. Data we collect
When you submit a brief or contact form we collect your name, email, company, and the contents of your message. We collect server logs (IP, user agent, referrer) for security and aggregate analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this site.
2. How we use it
To respond to you, scope work, manage active projects, comply with legal obligations, and — only with your explicit consent — to send a quarterly studio newsletter.
3. Sharing
We share data with vetted processors (email, hosting, accounting) under EU/Swiss-grade DPAs. We do not sell personal data. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA without standard contractual clauses.
4. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion or export of your data at any time. Email privacy@dayzero.gg and we'll respond inside 30 days.
5. Retention
Briefs are kept for 24 months unless we begin a project, in which case retention follows the contract. Newsletter subscriptions persist until you unsubscribe.
Terms.
These terms govern use of dayzero.gg and the engagements DayZero enters with clients. Project-specific terms are set in individual statements of work and override these where they conflict.
1. Use of the website
The site is provided as-is. Content (copy, imagery, code) is owned by DayZero or its licensors and is not licensed for re-use without written consent.
2. Engagements
All engagements proceed under a signed statement of work that names scope, fees, IP ownership, kill fees and termination. We do not work on spec.
3. IP & rights
Background IP remains the property of its owner. Foreground IP is assigned per the relevant SOW — usually shared in the case of co-developed creator IP, and assigned to the client for branded worlds and campaign deliverables.
4. Liability
Our liability under any single engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. Force majeure provisions follow Swiss law.
5. Governing law
Engagements signed by DayZero Studios AG are governed by Swiss law (Zurich). Engagements signed by DayZero Studios ApS are governed by Danish law (Copenhagen).
